WHO WILL WIN THE UCL THIS SEASON?

Liverpool are the bookmakers’ favourites to win this season’s Champions League after a dominant 2-0 victory over Villarreal in their semi-final, first-leg clash at Anfield.

They edge ahead in the market from Manchester City, who won the first leg of their semi-final against Real Madrid 4-3.

Liverpool are now 10/11 to win the Champions League, with Manchester City second favourites at 6/5. Real Madrid are 10/1, with Villarreal the rank outsiders at 66/1.

Liverpool have shortened in price to win this season’s Champions League and now head the market 10/11, just edging clear of Manchester City, who are 6/5.

The Reds comfortably dispatched Spanish club Villarreal 2-0 in their semi-final, first-leg clash at Anfield, thanks to an own goal from Pervis Estupinan and a Sadio Mane strike.

City made a dream start to their semi-final battle with Real Madrid by taking an early two-goal lead at the Etihad, but couldn’t shut out the 13-time European champions and now travel to the Spanish capital with a slender one-goal advantage.

The tie is firmly in the balance and Madrid – who are 10/1 shots to win – will feel confident of turning things around on home soil, especially after winning their quarter-final against Chelsea.
