Having won just the Copa del Rey in the last three seasons, Barcelona will be aiming to reclaim their place among Europe's most elite teams next season, and selling several players is one of the club's priorities in the upcoming transfer window.
Mateu Alemany, Jordi Cruyff, and Xavi Hernandez are adamant that new signings must arrive, while those who do not have a significant role in the team or who could command a substantial transfer fee may depart
There are currently nine footballers who have the option to leave the club, either because the club does not want them or because they want to sell them for financial reasons.
Dani Alves, Ousmane Dembele, Adama Traore, and Luuk de Jong are the other four players who will be released because their contract or loan has expired.
The club is refusing to sell a number of young players, including Pedri, Ferran Torres, Nico Gonzalez, Gavi, Ansu Fati, and Eric Garcia. These players can be thought of as non-transferable.
Finally, the old guard, which includes Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, will not leave because of their lucrative contracts or because Xavi wants to have them at the club.
On the other hand, there are players out on loan that the club will try to get rid of because of their high profile, such as Phillipe Coutinho, Miralem Pjanic, and Francisco Trincao. There is also Antoine Griezmann, but he is still on loan at Atletico Madrid for another year. Alex Collado and Inaki Pena will probably return to the squad.
The following is the situation of the players who have the option of leaving the current Barcelona squad:
He's been claiming for two years that he wants to leave because he doesn't get to play much, yet he always turns down the opportunities that come his way. Given he just has one year left on his contract, Barcelona want to sell him now. The replacement would be Galatasaray loanee Inaki Pena.
The club will sell him if there is a good offer. When Xavi first arrived, he appeared to be on the periphery, but as the months have gone by, he has earned the coach's faith. Due to the footballer's young age, the club may be able to secure a lucrative move. The club believes Chelsea's Cezar Azpilicueta to be a good replacement.
His contribution to the team is diminishing. The squad has enough centre-backs in Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo, and Eric Garcia, with Andreas Christensen on the way too. Barcelona are willing to sell Lenglet for a good price, which is reflected in the balance sheet for the Frenchman's minimal amortization. He has suitors in the Premier League.

Another central defender who will be on the market. He played many games under previous Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman, but Xavi's arrival has reduced his role in the squad significantly. Because of his age, he has value and may be sold for 10 million.

Umtiti's major ambition is to play again after so many injuries. After so many injuries, Umtiti's main objective is to play again. The renewal he did for Barcelona makes it easier for him to leave because at the moment his salary is much lower than it was. Samuel has always been hesitant to leave Barcelona, but things might be different this time.
