PEP GUARDIOLA HAS NO INTENT OF RETURNING TO FC BARCELONA

According to AS, Barcelona president Joan Laporta, is attempting to go ‘all out’ to sign Pep Guardiola as the new head coach. The Manchester City coach is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches of all time, and is on track to win a treble this season (barring a final hurdle: Chelsea in the Champions League final).

Given Ronald Koeman’s topsy turvy first season, Laporta is looking to replace the current Blaugrana head coach. While he has managed to win a Copa del Rey with half a squad that needs a revolution, it simply feels that his own tactical deficiencies and poor decision-making has cost Barça a La Liga title which was very much in their hands last month.
