Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is said to be considering an international switch from England to Ghana after the African nation qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup later this year. According to Ghanaian media, the 22-year-old is keen to be part of the setup for the tournament that is set to begin in November.
The Ghana Football Association is said to have been in contact with Nketiah and his family in recent weeks over a potential switch that could see him team up with Gunners teammate Thomas Partey. Partey has been a bright spark for the Black Stars throughout their qualification campaign.

The academy graduate could be set to leave Arsenal this season in another switch as his current deal expires in the summer. He has only managed 13 Premier League appearances this summer, failing to find the net but assisting once in that time.

The 22-year-old's main competition has been the Carabao Cup this season. In five games in the League Cup, he scored five goals to give himself a chance in the first-team.
Following Nketiah's Man of the Match display against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup, an instagram video from Bukayo Saka with the striker saw Partey join in and say: "Now you are ready for Ghana." The forward laughed after.
Despite making appearances for the England youth teams, a move to Ghana could be on the cards and Arsenal fans have had their say on social media over the switch.
